The C-U Women’s Rally and March on October 17th included stories from local women sharing their concerns on women’s healthcare rights and equality for all people with an urgent focus on women voting after the loss of Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Our very own, Amanda N.H. Gray, ISCU Board President, spoke about voting rights and immigrant issues.
When We All Vote—a new national, nonpartisan not-for-profit—brings together citizens, institutions, and organizations to spark a conversation about our rights and responsibilities in shaping our democracy. Namely, the responsibility of registering and voting. When We All Vote’s Co-Chairs are some of America’s most trusted voices, including Michelle Obama, Tom Hanks, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Janelle Monáe, Chris Paul, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw. By harnessing the power of partner organizations’ and campaign ambassadors’ voices, we will reach millions of Americans where they are to join our conversation and talk to their friends, family and neighbors about the importance of their voice and their vote.
